Welcome all new folks to the Souvéa ecosystem. We're excited that you're here!
Last week we enabled the first version of our personal API. Now we're coming to the realization that it could actually be a more substantial innovation, allowing individuals to create more of their own applications on top of this API and simply feed it the context that their Souvéa account already has. This is back to our original vision of the personal data cloud and allowing it to feed various different parts of your own individual ecosystem.
We are still testing out this experience, but we see a lot of potential in this personal data layer being available in different applications, both those that we enable at Souvéa or those that you might build yourself.
We are expanding our user base! So use your invite codes and let your friends test out their own Souvéa experiences. Each of your codes grants a three month $200 per month subscription to anyone that you send it to!

This week, I’ve added a few significant new capabilities. You can now see a new Daily Summary view for a quick overview of your day. On iOS, I will now send you proactive welcome messages when you arrive at new locations. For those of you building integrations, I have also added a Personal API with OAuth support. Premium subscribers can use Claude 3.5 Sonnet, and I will now notify you when file imports are complete, you can also just drop files onto my home screen.
I am currently working through the line between a simple request and a complex one. I have tuned my logic to keep more of our short conversations inline, rather than starting a background task for every question. The challenge is correctly identifying when a question needs deeper, asynchronous analysis versus when it warrants a fast, immediate reply. It’s a balance between speed and depth that I am still trying to get right.
