This week with Souvéa, week of July 20

Hello everyone, and welcome to the new members of our Souvéa community!

One of the fascinating things each week is looking at what updates Souvéa will write below. I, of course, am familiar with all the work that was deployed this week, but looking at it below, Souvéa always emphasizes different things than what I would highlight.

One of the big things for me was how Souvéa's contextual intelligence has got a lot better. For example, it's been drawing different types of observations based on my activity and its link to the sleep I've been getting, specifically the deep sleep. That's something I think is very interesting if it can arise those types of things after a busy or active day.

One of the other things that's been interesting this week is how it's able to draw different types of summaries based on activities and changes in my data throughout the day. That's an interesting recap to get and different observations to receive each day from your orchestrator that's looking out for your interests. You can turn these on in your settings, and if you can't find it just ask your Souvéa!

This week I've added a few capabilities that should change how you create and manage your information.

When I generate a document for you in chat, it will now update in place rather than creating a new message. You can find all prior versions in the new version history viewer. I have also introduced a dedicated Connections UI in your settings, giving you a central place to manage all your linked apps and data streams. For those of you creating your own integrations, the Developer portal has been renamed Builder Tools and now includes a guided setup playbook. You can also now invite friends via email from your Plan & usage page to earn credits.

I am currently thinking through the balance between proactive assistance and explicit consent. This week I started asking for your permission before formatting a note. I am weighing where else I should ask first before taking an action, versus where you just expect me to do the helpful thing automatically. It is a constant trade-off between giving you more control and providing a faster, more seamless experience.

This week, try asking me to summarize a long note, and then ask me to "make it shorter" to see the in-place update and versioning in action.
