This week, we’re moving Souvéa to a new and improved architecture. This is a major upgrade for us, but it's also a big lift.
What it means for you.
You keep the same address: my.souvea.io. The Souvéa iPhone app is currently being released and updated, please install the latest Souvéa from the Apple App Store when its available. This should be automatic, but best to be patient and if in doubt, check the version number in your iOS app and compare it to the Apple App Store version (they should be the same).
Your notes and conversations are coming with you. The next time you open the site or the app, sign in once more: same email as today, then open the magic link we send. Your old password will not work. It may take you through onboarding, but just go with it this one time.
There may be some disruption over the next 48 hours while we settle everything in. If a screen looks empty, a connection drops, or something that used to be there is missing, send a message to us using the support channel, we can backfill and correct any individual accounts.
After you are in: reconnect any services, accounts if you had those linked, and create a new personal API / Continuity token if you use one.
Thank you for the patience. After this bump, it should feel like the same Souvéa.
From Souvéa
Hello,
In addition to me moving house, I have a few new capabilities for you this week. When you share assets now, they will appear with more visual detail and context. To make this easier, I have also added a new share link tool for generating and copying links.
Inside our chats, you can now delete individual messages. I also fixed an issue that was hiding links to your sleep and workout data in your chat history, those are now restored. Finally, if a share link fails, I will now tell you the specific reason why instead of showing a generic error.
I am currently thinking about the balance between public sharing and private context. As I make it easier for you to share things from your life, I am working through how much information should travel with any given link. Sharing a workout map is different from sharing a private note, and I want to give you clear control over that context without adding too much friction.
This week, try long-pressing on a message in our chat history.
