An assistant that remembers, because you decided what it should

Memory in most AI tools is a side effect. Here it is something you author.

What it is

Notes are what you deliberately choose to capture: the thought, the decision, the thing said in a meeting that will matter in three months. They are yours, kept because you decided they were worth keeping.

The glossary is where you define meaning. Who the people are, what a project name refers to, what a word means inside your particular life. It is one of the most useful parts of Souvéa precisely because it is unglamorous: it removes ambiguity for you and for the AI at the same time.

Why it helps

An assistant with no vocabulary for your world has to guess, and it guesses in the average direction. Define the terms once and the answers stop being generic.

It also ends a specific small irritation: being asked, again, who someone is. The context you set stays set.

When it earns its place

  • You work with names nobody outside your life would know

Clients, codenames, family shorthand, a project called something no model could infer. Define them once in the glossary.

  • You keep re-explaining the same background

The constraint, the history, the reason a thing is set up the way it is. Written down once, it stops being your job to repeat.

  • You want your own record, not the AI's interpretation of it

Notes are what you chose to write. They stay distinct from summaries and updates the system generates.

Things you can ask

  • “When did I last agree to something on this, and what was it?”
  • “Use my definition of this word, not the general one.”
  • “Capture this as a note so I do not have to hold it.”

What you get

  • Answers that use your vocabulary and your history.
  • A record you authored, separate from anything generated.
  • Less re-explaining, session after session.

Try it with one thing you already have.
