Switching from another AI, without starting from zero

Every time you change AI tools you pay the same tax: reintroducing yourself. Souvéa lets you carry the history over instead.

What it is

Souvéa can hold conversation history from other AI tools, so the assistant you use next is not meeting you for the first time. There are two paths. You can bring in a one time export, the ZIP file most AI products let you download of your own data. Or, where Continuity is enabled for your account, the history can keep flowing in as you use those other tools.

Once the history is in, it sits alongside everything else in your Souvéa: your notes, your files, the sources you have connected. It becomes something the assistant can reason with, not an archive you scroll through.

Why it helps

The reason people give up on AI assistants is rarely the answers. It is the setup cost, paid again every session. You explain the project, the family, the constraint, the thing you already decided last month. Then you close the tab and the explaining evaporates.

Carrying history across means the work you already did stays done. Switching tools stops being a reset, and you stop being the memory in the loop.

When it earns its place

  • You have two years of conversations somewhere else

Ideas, drafts, decisions and half-finished thinking, all in a product you are leaving. Export it once and it comes with you rather than being abandoned.

  • You use more than one AI tool and always will

Different tools suit different work. With history held in one place, moving between them stops meaning starting over each time.

  • You are trying Souvéa but do not want a blank page

An import gives the assistant something to work from on day one, so the first conversation is useful rather than introductory.

Things you can ask

  • “What did we decide about this last spring?”
  • “Pull together everything I have written about this project, wherever I wrote it.”
  • “I explained my situation to another assistant months ago. What did I say?”

What you get

  • Answers that draw on conversations you had before you arrived here.
  • One place where your AI history lives, rather than one archive per product.
  • The ability to change tools later without paying the setup cost again.

Try it with one thing you already have.
