AI processed in Canada or the United States: what changes?

For many people in North America the question is simple: is my request handled at home? Here is what changes when you choose the country.

The Souvéa model picker open in the app, listing supported models from several providers with one of them selected.

Why the country matters

Every AI answer is built in a data centre somewhere. The country decides which rules apply to that processing and how far your request travels.

If you live in Canada, you might want your requests handled in Canada. If you work with American clients, the United States might fit better.

What you can do in Souvéa

Souvéa shows the model and the processing country beside each answer. Where the model and provider support it, you can choose the United States or Canada, or a European country such as Germany or Switzerland.

Your personal context stays the same whichever country you choose. Only where the request is processed changes.

Worth knowing

Not every model is offered in every country. Availability varies by model, provider and region. The country shown is visibility, not a legal guarantee.
