Choose the country where your AI request is processed

Every AI request goes somewhere. In Souvéa you can see where, and choose.

What it is

When a model answers you, the request is processed in a data centre in a particular country. Souvéa shows that country beside the answer, together with the model that answered.

Where the model and provider support it, you choose the processing country yourself. Today the options include the United States, Canada, Switzerland, Sweden, Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands. Availability varies by model, provider and region.

This is a separate question from where your information is stored. Choosing a processing country for a request does not move everything you have stored, and Souvéa keeps the two apart so you can see both.

Why it helps

Most AI services leave this question unanswered in daily use. You find out, if at all, in a policy document. Seeing it in the conversation means you can decide before you ask something personal.

It also lets you match the country to the work. Client material in Switzerland, a health question in Sweden, everyday questions wherever the model you like runs best. Your personal context stays the same whichever you pick.

When it earns its place

  • You want a request to stay in Europe

Pick Germany, Sweden, Belgium, the Netherlands or Switzerland where the model offers it, and see the country confirmed beside the answer.

  • You work with clients who ask where things run

You can tell them which model handled the work and in which country, instead of guessing.

  • You live in North America

Choose the United States or Canada where supported, so your requests are processed close to home.

Things you can ask

  • “Answer this using a model processed in Switzerland.”
  • “Which model and which country handled my last question?”
  • “Use Germany for anything about this contract.”

What you get

  • The model and processing country, visible beside each answer.
  • A choice of country where the model and provider support it.
  • The same personal context, whichever country you choose.
